I am a scientist who has a wealth of experience in effective storytelling: I have communicated science to the public, have successful grant writing and editing experience, have given many powerful poster presentations, talks, and pitches, and have years of experience in graphic design and science illustration.
ASHLEY HAYDEN MONAHAN

My name is Ashley Monahan and I am the founder of SciComm Consulting, LLC.
I have over seven years of research experience in the biological sciences, nine years of teaching experience, and fifteen years of art experience. I enjoy learning about different fields and using creativity to solve problems - just like I do in the lab.
I have received over $450,000 total of research funding based on my own independent grant proposals. I have given many talks across the globe to graduate students, researchers, and non-scientists about the importance of science communication and visualization. I am very passionate about science and helping researchers reach their full potential. I am here to help you reach your science communication goals!

OUR MISSION
Science is meaningless if it is not understood beyond those doing it.
I believe in access to science for all. For me, that means training scientists and research-adjacent professionals how to best convey their discoveries to the scientific community and to the public.
